In the tumultuous spring of 2020, I made a piece of video art for an assignment.

I was struggling with loneliness and depression,

and wanted to write about long distance friendships

and the unique troubles that they bring.

​

This piece started out as a series of short speculative writings about

finding solace in strangers from the other end of the universe,

and ended as a cautionary piece on the ambiguity 

of words interpreted in long distance,

whether at the end of the universe

or far nearer.
